Mastering Coriolis Master Meter Performance

How can you make your master meters measure smarter, more reliably, and achieve better measurement uncertainty? In this webinar, VSL shows how you can improve your performance — based on our own experience.

During this session, Erik Smits, Chief Metrologist Flow at VSL, will guide you through the unique reference flow meter architecture of our European Center for Flow Measurement (ECFM). Discover how one of our Water Flow Facilities uses four parallel master meters that can also be partially switched in series, enabling calibration strategies far beyond what most laboratories can achieve.

If you are familiar with the traditional Z configuration, you will want to explore the innovative X configuration of the VSL Water Flow 2500.

What you will learn

  • Why and how master meters can be calibrated using other master meters
  • The impact on repeatability when operating 1, 2, 3, or all 4 reference meters
  • How gravimetric traceability anchors every measurement result
  • The differences between the gravimetric method and the master meter method
  • How international consistency is ensured (EURAMET project 1616)
  • How VSL can support calibration up to 2500 t/h (m³/h), including uncertainty performance

Who should attend?

Professionals working with flow measurements who want to optimise their master meter performance.
