3D CMM workshop on freeforms and digital twins

February 5, 2026

Knowledge day for metrology experts and industrial engineers

Talks from experts on dimensional metrology using 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) with focus on advanced tactile measurements on freeform geometries and the application of digital twins (e.g. virtual CMMs and D-MTs).

Early outcomes of the ADAM project will be presented on development and usage of virtual and physical freeform measurement standards.

During the workshop there will be opportunities for meeting the experts, networking, demonstration(s) and visiting the labs of the National Metrology Institute VSL.
