Lopende projecten

Deelname VSL aan Europese innovatie en onderzoeksprogramma’s

In 2010 is het EMRP-programma (European Metrology Research Programme) van start gegaan. Door dit programma hebben de Europese metrologie instituten, industrie en wetenschap kunnen werken aan gezamenlijke onderzoeksprojecten op het gebied van industrie, energie, milieu, gezondheid, nieuwe technologieën en SI-eenheden. Tussen 2010 en 2013 zijn 119 driejarige projecten gefinancierd.

In totaal ging het om een fonds van 400 M€, bijeengebracht door 23 deelnemende EU-lidstaten en de Europese Unie. Voor meer informatie over de projecten en hun impact: zie https://www.euramet.org/research-innovation/emrp/.

Dit programma is in 2014 opgevolgd door het EMPIR-programma (European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research). Dit programma ondersteunt dezelfde soort onderzoeksprojecten als EMRP plus aanvullende thema’s als Standaardisering, Regelgeving en Normering, Ondersteuning van Netwerken en Ondersteuning van Impactprojecten.

Concreet neemt VSL op dit moment deel aan:

  • 10 projecten uit de EMPIR Energy, Environment en Normative calls (gestart in 2017).
    Hiervan is 1 project in 2019 afgerond, de resterende projecten zijn halverwege 2020 afgelopen.
  • 12 projecten  uit de EMPIR calls voor Industry, Fundamental, Normative en SIP (Support for Impact) calls (gestart in 2018).
    .
  • 11 projecten uit de Health, SI Broader Scope, Normative, Network en SIP calls, die halverwege 2019 van start zijn gegaan.
  • 10 projecten uit de calls voor Energy, Environment, Normative en Network, die halverwege 2020 van start zijn gegaan.
