Either used for cooking, smart cars, or mobile phones, we heavily rely on them whilst driving in our cars, preparing our meal or when we want to communicate when we are on the road. We still discover new opportunities to use these electromagnetic waves, for example for advanced drug delivery or to differentiate between healthy and morbid tissue.
To characterize the performance of these high frequency (HF) systems, users rely upon measurements obtained from Vector Network Analysers (VNAs). Where the complexity of the abovementioned applications is ever increasing, the demand for more increased reliability in VNA calibration is higher than ever before.
Therefore, in close collaboration with DARE!! Calibrations, VSL developed an advanced VNA measurement and calibration software suite, FAME, to meet industry’s need to improve the reliability of VNA measurements beyond the present state-of-the-art. This software package is now available and seamlessly integrates with almost any VNA.
