Interlaboratory Comparison schedule

We are pleased to inform you that VSL, has updated our Interlaboratory Comparison Program for the coming year(s).

An interlaboratory comparison (or proficiency test (PT) or PTP or round robin test) consists in testing the same samples by different laboratories and in comparing the results. Proficiency testing is an essential part of laboratory quality procedure and participation is a mandatory requirement of ISO 17025 accreditation.

VSL has more than 30 years of experience in interlaboratory Calibration comparisons and is ISO/IEC 17043 accredited for providing proficiency tests (PT). We organize interlaboratory comparisons and proficiency testing (PT) schemes in many different fields, from pressure, mass and viscosity to chemical analysis, and from temperature and humidity to electricity, length and gas flow. The main change in VSL’s updated PT-scheme is the continuous rounds of some comparisons. These comparisons will start when 5 participants have signed up for it. The lead time will be a total of 16 weeks (all 5 participants come from the same region/country) or 24 weeks (more time needed for transport etc.) including reporting.

Are there any PT studies / artifacts your laboratory would like to see in our program?
Feel free to contact VSL for your request for PT studies.
