VSL has established a leading position in the area of gas analysis that is recognized world wide. Companies and organizations contact VSL due to our knowledge of measuring and interpreting measurement results. A characteristic of the chemical sector (food, pharmaceuticals, solvents and polymers) is that measurements have a major impact when it comes to obtain high-quality products. VSL will advise you in the choice of an efficient measurement strategy or in the planning of a validation method. Moreover, VSL will help you to interpret the measurement data and to determine measurement uncertainties.
Working method
At VSL, contract research and consultancy start with a structured approach. The first step is to explore the issue. What is the starting point, what is the desired outcome and how can we get there? An exploratory meeting with one of the experts of Customized Applied Metrology can provide clarity.

Courses
Annually, VSL produces more than 15 peer reviewed papers in the area of applied metrology, and many other publications. Much of the knowledge in these publications is included in the course material. The courses are given at VSL or on site.
